I bought the Megaman artbook collection recently, and saw these comics get a mention. It's good to learn more about em! o.o

Oh definitely and I'm glad you did. While comparing the books I noticed a lot of differences, but overall, it's certainly the better choice. I'm glad you guys finally managed to get this thing translated and I look forward to the others, including the MegaManZX books. =) Thanks for your input. I'm just curious now what with learning the "Wedge" thing, if there's ever going to be a continuation with translating the Gigamix series. Troublesome.

Hey Andrew,

Matt here from UDON, glad you liked the first volume of Megamix. Since you mentioned it just wanted to let you know why we used the version of Megamix we did(the Enterbrain version). Basiacally, these time of deals take a while to finalized, and by the time we signed contracts with the Japanese publisher, got in touch with Ariga, got the files etc, the rights to the the book had changed hands. (it not lies at a company called Wedge). But not to worry, as the Enterbrain version is more complete than the Wedge one.

The Wedge version does have the text for the character profiles (only art), any of the of the Mega Man Maniax stories (foudn in vol.2/3), the Rockman World story, and a few other things. So, you are actualyl getting more bang that you woudl if we had localized the newer printing ;)

I suppose they're looking at it from a business stand point to release them separately before diving straight into the 3 volume collections. However it'd be nice if they pull a Viz and release 5 volumes in one month. Wishful thinking.

But the book was great, I still love the character sheets of the RM. Great book, I can't wait for the next volumes
