Mary Ann Tigress Cosplay Contest
Hey hey, contest time!  Apparently Mary Ann is going to a local convention in town, but she's rather interested in the concept of 'cosplay'. She has little knowledge of pop culture in video games, anime and tv shows, so now she's been asking for help on who to go as. It's up to you to decide what Mary Ann Tigress will cosplay as for the convention! Description (from Wikipedia): Cosplay (コスプレ, kosupure), short for "costume play", is a Japanese subculture centered on dressing as characters from manga, anime, tokusatsu, and video games, and, less commonly, Japanese live action television shows, fantasy movies, Japanese pop music bands, Visual Kei, fantasy music stories (such as stories by the band Sound Horizon), and novels. However, in some circles, "cosplay" has been expanded to mean simply wearing a costume (so it is not limited to japanese culture.) RULES:-Pictures must be of Mary Ann in a costume portraying another character. Hence Cosplay -Cosplay option include any character from a video game, anime tv show, or a show on tv. Heck, if you have a character, you can also have her cosplay as them. -Cosplay ideas are not limited to just female roles, you can make a female cosplay version of a male character. Just remember that Mary Ann is a girl. -Inclusion of other characters in the image is prohibited. You can include a mascotish type character if it fits in with the cosplay. -Artists who join must also provide name of character cosplay being portrayed and the series its from. -Don't be afraid to change Mary's hair to fit the character, it doesn't have to be a blonde, just don't forget about the stripe. (Hint: The stripe turns white when she bleaches it black) -Image does not have to be in color, but its encouraged. -You can submit as many entries as you wish, but it might not increase your chances of winning a prize. -Nude is not a costume! Please refrain from pornographic imagery or pornographic character portrayal. And keep away from swearing as well. -Any disturbing images submitted or violations of the above rules will be declined at artists expense. A severe case of updatelessness disease
Boy the site sure had been collecting a lot of cobwebs... Those of you are probably (maybe) curious about why I haven't been popping up on here as usual. Well here's the 411 on whats been going on in my life:
Been juggling around three, possibly four jobs at once the past couple months actually, I've been drawing some episodal storyboards for shows at Nickelodeon, Mike Young and ToonZone. I've done already two full episodes for both productions, and I've been handling the timing and animatics for all the episodes for the one at Nickelodeon. As well, I've been working with Toon Zone on many of their logos, and promo pieces. Action Dad has appeared on the cover of Kidscreen magazine twice, and the pilot is still in production. I can't give off too many details, but along with Action Dad, two other shows I've created have been optioned, you can kinda wonder and guess which ones though I may have already hinted easily. You'll be seeing a lot more of all of them soon later in the year. And if you thought that was the end, you're wrong, I've also been contracted to work on a manga for Tokyopop which will start pretty soon, wish me luck.
Those of you wondering about what happened to Random Cartoons and Ivan the Unbearable, word is they'll be airing on Nick Toons sometime this year, so keep and eye out for it.
So yeah, you can see why SFC.com has sort of been gathering dust in the process... No worries though, good things are to come, and I'll keep you guys updated. Comments are still on lock down mode seeing as I'm not getting any support on how to keep spam from invading my CuteNews. Sorry, still no commenting yet.

If you want to give your loved one something special this Christmas, ask them their shirt size and go for it. You can customize the designs on any shirt for men, women, or even kids sizes.
Thanksgiving
Well its Thanksgiving time again, its a good time to be with your loved ones, so tomorrow I'm going to head out to my moms, and join her and my buddy Kevin for a nice Thanksgiving Ham (no turkey). I've recently gotten a cold, so it seems everyone is getting it this time of year. But ya know, at this time I also want to remember my father, being its the 3rd year since his death, and I still love and miss him so much. But its important to remember the things we're thankful of.
I'm thankful for a lot of things, I'm thankful for all the friends I have, and all the great watchers and fans I have of my work, I thank YOU guys for making this artist know he's not just doing this for himself but for all of you. I'm also thankful for still being able to do what I've always wanted to do, and love to do, working on cartoons, with some of the best people I've met. I'm also thankful for mst3k... hmm.. what else?... Eh, my health?... Well that's out, I got a cold!!! anyhow. Thanks.
